Loaves and Fish

bing.com
A few loaves and fish in a crumpled sack . . .
"What are they among so many?"
The supply fails to match the vast demand
On grassy slopes.

Inside a child's heart,
I lift my offering with meager hands.
Without reproach, He accepts my loaves and fish,
And one by one the needs are met.
Fully satisfied.
Enough!

    1. Blessings, Cheryl. This poem grows out of my amazement at how sometimes I see God take my measly "loaves and fish" and somehow "feed the multitudes."

  2. God's promises are yes and amen, His strength and provision enough, His grace is always amazing!

Thanks for sharing your loaves and fishes during a time when I need nourishment and my basket feels empty.
